Trisquel 12: uninstall IceDove does removes Trisquel's GUI settings

Hello,
I wish to report that uninstalling IceDove does remove Trisquel's (12 RC 2) GUI settings (can't remember if it was with Trisquel or Triskel).
This is a issue for a final user, perhaps this should be added to the Documentation (in order to help the user to fix the issue).

Is that removed immediately when uninstalling icedove or as part of a later autoremove action?
When you uninstall any default app (icedove or another one), it uninstalls the corresponding meta-package, which might results in various issues later. Perhaps a better advice would be not to uninstall any default app. I don't use icedove but I did not uninstall it (but then, it is true that it has a number of updates that I'd prefer to avoid).
