Hello, I made (onto a other OS) a OGG video (converted to) file, with Vorbis as audio codec, an AV1 for video codec.
I am surprise to not be able to read it on Trisquel 12 RC 2 (only the audio is working).
Is the AV1 support planed ?
You can read AV1 even on Trisquel 11. To try I have just downloaded https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=-iP4dTlL2Co with Parabolic ( https://flathub.org/fr/apps/org.nickvision.tubeconverter ): VLC 3.0.16, that Trisquel 11 ships by default, read it with no issue on my on my six-year-old CPU.
AV1 Samples (360p to 2160p):
https://dl.photoprism.app/samples/Formats/Video/AV1/
Run this command in the Terminal to test one 360p AV1 video on VLC:
vlc https://dl.photoprism.app/samples/Formats/Video/AV1/CityHall_640x360.webm
Icarolongo, thank you for the URL. This one does work (played with VLC v3.0.20). Perhaps the problem is with my video file (.WEBM, no .OGG as I wrote), it's the first WEBM file I made (from a DVD converted with the software HandBrake).
