how to install librecmc on gl ar300m16?

what follows are instructions on how to install librecmc on a
new gl ar300m16 router.

Installing librecmc requires a pair of librecmc files. You get them on
https://librecmc.org/librecmc/downloads/snapshots/v6.1/targets/ath79/generic/

Regarding the gl ar300m16 you got two options:
Option 1:
download librecmc-ath79-generic-glinet_gl-ar300m16-initramfs-kernel.bin and
librecmc-ath79-generic-glinet_gl-ar300m16-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
Option 2:
download librecmc-ath79-generic-thinkpenguin_tpe-r1300-initramfs-kernel.bin and
librecmc-ath79-generic-thinkpenguin_tpe-r1300-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

In order to install either librecmc option 1 or 2 you may
follow the steps described on

Instead of installing openwrt you can install the librecmc pair of
files in question.
In a command line command ip route will tell you
the ip address of the router after you have installed
the initramfs file.
