Excellent job with Gnome 3 fallback mode. I don't have any problem with compositing on my computer, but I've opted to stay with the fallback mode because I like it better.
But I've heard that eventually it might go away. Is this true?

I've heard the same thing although I don't know how true it is. Just speculation on my side but I imagine that since GNOME 3.4 has software rendering the GNOME folks feel that there's less of a need for a fall back mode?
