I can update my GPG and the Enigmail icon disappeared...

In Icedove I got this popup saying I needed to update GnuPG to the latest version. So I ran apt-get update and then tried to get the latest version but it says it already IS at the latest version. Now the Enigmail icon has disappeared from my toolbar. What did I do wrong?

Install the gnupg2 package.
