Mirroring Trisquel

Mirroring the .iso images
Size: 39GB as of July 2026 (storage space recommendation: 100GB)
Most of our traffic comes from the .iso image downloads. If you have a high bandwidth connection, you can mirror our .iso images repository. This is the suggested command:
rsync -rlpthi --delete --stats rsync.trisquel.org::trisquel.iso .
Mirroring the package repository
Size: 1.99TB as of July 2026 (storage space recommendation: 4TB)
It includes every source and binary (i386, amd64, armhf, arm64, ppc64el, riscv64) package available for all our editions and versions, and is used by the final users for upgrades and security updates. This is the suggested command:
rsync -rlpthi --delete-after --stats rsync.trisquel.org::trisquel.packages .
